Lervig / Stone Hi, I'm Kveik
We’ve teamed up with Lervig for our sixth and final Stone UNIQCAN release for 2018: a hot-fermented “Kveik” IPA. “Kveik” is one of the many Norwegian words for yeast – specifically yeast used in farmhouse brewing. The yeast we used in this beer ferments hotter than most and brings in strong pineapple, tangerine and other tropical flavors. We topped the recipe off with a typically-Stone lupulin boost, creating a hoppy and deliciously complex IPA - the perfect way to wrap up our first year with the Stone UNIQCAN series.
